Acrylic paintings
Overview
In my work, human figures are central. I work quickly with brush, spray can, spatula and palette knife, where light, color, shape and composition have to create a certain atmosphere. In addition, I try to stimulate the viewer to give an interpretation of what is going on within the work. The final result is not fixed, so that during the effect the voltage remains in it.
This painting style with a somewhat impressionistic / modern abstract character I sometimes alternate with work in other styles.
In most paintings, blacklists are a fixed part. This is to make the work sharply marked against the background.
My paintings can be seen with some regularity at various locations in the East of The Netherlands. See the exhibition agenda.
