Overview

I am currently working on two series that focus on human figures:

 

In series 1, I work quickly with a brush, spray can, and palette knife, using light, color, form, composition, and movement to create a specific atmosphere. I also try to encourage the viewer to determine for themselves what's going on in a piece. Therefore, I don't work realistically here. The final result is not fixed, which maintains the tension during further development.

 

In series 2, the paintings are more realistic, with "people captured in a moment." Form and color are inspired by elements of Pop Art. The final result is predetermined. The tension here is the ultimate effect of an "intimate" moment on a larger scale.

 

In most paintings, black frames are a fixed element to ensure that the work stands out sharply against the background.

 

In 2025, my paintings will be on display at several locations in the eastern part of the country. See the exhibition calendar for details. Several works are available for sale.
