Paintings

Human figures, usually in groups, take center stage in my current works. I work quickly with acrylic paint, using brushes, spray cans, and palette knives, among other tools. Light, color, form, and composition play an important role in conveying a specific atmosphere.


I begin with a rough sketch on the canvas, where the final result is never fixed. For me, searching for a specific atmosphere is the most important aspect of the painting process.

I find it interesting when the viewer gives their own interpretation to what is taking place in a painting.


In most paintings, the frames are an integral part of the work. They ensure that the painting stands out more sharply against a background.

To keep challenging myself, I sometimes venture into other painting styles.


My paintings are on display with some regularity at various locations, primarily in the eastern part of the country. Please see the exhibition schedule for details.
